Organic Lawn Care in Bethesda, MD

You want your lawn to be green and thriving, but something about spraying it with chemicals all season doesn’t sit right with you.

At East Coast Lawn, you can trust us to do what the other guys often don’t – provide you with a great-looking lawn using true organic products and techniques.

Our Eco Green Program offers you 100% organic lawn care in every season, so you have a naturally healthy lawn at every stage.

By using three organic fertilizations each year – one in the spring and two in the fall – we give you the thriving lawn you love without chemicals that can seep into the groundwater or harm animals. We manage broadleaf weeds with Fiesta, an organic herbicide that delivers an iron overdose to the weed, effectively choking it before it can really grow.

We even offer free weed touch-ups between visits if you need them, so your lawn stays healthy all year long.

Tips for Keeping Your Organically Treated Lawn Healthy

Now that you’ve got a great-looking lawn that’s been treated organically, you want to make sure it stays that way between treatments and at the beginning and end of every season.

Here are some tips to help you keep your lawn healthy and thriving even in between treatments:

  • Aerate & seed in the fall for a healthy base of grass
  • When mowing, use a sharp blade and cut your lawn weekly on the highest mower setting

Your home is your castle, and your lawn helps give your visitors the impression that you really care about making sure your castle is in peak condition.

But between work, family, friends, and your hobbies, you can’t devote the time necessary to making sure your lawn is in peak condition.

That’s where East Coast Lawn comes in – We handle the tough work so you don’t have to!

We offer a variety of high-quality lawn care services in Bethesda, Maryland, giving you the lawn you want with no effort.

Our skilled lawn care specialists can keep your lawn healthy and thriving with:

Core Aeration & Double Overseeding

Improve your lawn’s overall health by opening up compacted soil, giving it the ability to breathe and circulate air. This promotes better growth and better overall lawn health. We use a triple blend turf-type fescue seed and apply it extra thick for a more dense lawn and more extensive root system.

Weed Control

Keep weeds at bay by laying down pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides, helping to keep your lawn thick and dense to choke out any invading weeds.

Fertilization

From early spring green-up to heavy, root-building treatments in the fall, we use superior fertilizers to keep your lawn looking great no matter the weather.

Grub Proofing & Insect Control

Don’t let grubs and insects destroy all your hard work on your lawn. Keep your turf healthy and thriving with pest monitoring and surface insect control all year round.

Corrective Lime Application

A low soil pH means grass and plants have difficulty absorbing fertilizers. By applying corrective lime, we raise the pH of your soil, allowing your plants to better absorb the nutrients they need and giving them the opportunity to thrive.

Humate Soil Conditioning

Instead of spending time and money laying down organic compost, let us  apply humate soil conditioner. One application of humate provides soil conditioning and microbe stimulation equivalent to ½ inch of high-quality organic compost.

For over 20 years I did the fertilizing myself and this year I decided to give the lawn service a try. I’m glad I did, because my lawn looks great. East Coast Lawns is great to work with. I get an email a few days before they are coming out and I know what they are going to do. In retrospect, the program I was using on my own was no where near what East Coast Lawns is doing and I didn’t do it at the right time and the costs are about the same.
